Our facilities:
We exceed industry standards for Animal care programs, On-farm food safety programs, and use good clinical practice (GCP) principles for trials. All research is conducted at our own farms, owned by Dr. Lloyd Weber and family. LEL Farms Ltd is a private, family-owned agri-business with 16 commercial broiler and turkey barns. As a large producer in Ontario, we ensure processes and protocols are in place to exceed industry standards for poultry production to ensure exceptional performance and have a strong focus on animal health. The facility has a variety of barn sizes and configurations for trial research, including 48 small pens, setup within the barn facilities. Two or four pen commercial production with 6,000-25,000 birds each can be run side-by-side for conventionally raised or raised without antibiotic birds.
